Eclipse, Heatwave, and a Solar Car That Makes More Power Than It Uses
A total solar eclipse crosses North America on Tuesday, August 12, and NASA is positioning high-altitude research jets and atmospheric balloons along the path of totality to study the solar corona — the sun's outer atmosphere, visible only during totality.
